About the Corpse Reviver No. 2
"Corpse revivers" were 19th-century morning-after drinks. The No. 2 was made famous by Harry Craddock's Savoy Cocktail Book in 1930, which warned that "four of these taken in swift succession will unrevive the corpse again". Bartenders revived it in the 2000s, and it is now a modern favourite.
The daisy family. The daisy is a sour sweetened with an orange liqueur or another cordial instead of plain sugar. Daisies appear in American bar books from the 1870s. The Sidecar, the White Lady and the Margarita (Spanish for "daisy") all belong to this family, which is why their recipes look so alike.
