About the Chapman

The Chapman is Nigeria's best-known non-alcoholic drink. It is said to have been created at the Ikoyi Club in Lagos in the 1960s.

The soda fountain family. Soda fountains spread across America in the late 1800s, serving flavoured syrups mixed with carbonated water. Many famous alcohol-free drinks, like the Shirley Temple, the Roy Rogers and the Italian soda, come from that tradition: syrup, citrus and bubbles.

Does a Chapman contain alcohol?
